Pricing FAQ
What does "private, dedicated environment" mean for pricing?
Every plan includes your own dedicated, private environment, fully set up and ready to go, with nothing to install and nothing shared with any other business. It's a few hundred rand a month to run, and we help you size it correctly from day one.
How does support billing work?
There's no support contract or SLA fee bundled into your subscription, you only pay for the hours you actually use. Higher tiers simply get you a faster response and more direct access (chat, then phone) when you need it.
Can I switch plans as my team grows?
Yes, move up a tier at any time, and the change applies from your next billing date. Nothing about your existing data or setup changes when you upgrade.
Is VAT registration required to use Retufu?
No. VAT calculation can be switched off entirely for businesses that aren't VAT-registered, invoices, reports and totals all adjust automatically.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes, quarterly and annual billing are both available on request, in addition to the standard monthly plan shown above.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
It's your data, on your server, the whole time, cancelling Retufu support doesn't touch your database. We'll also give you a full export before any handover.
We're currently on spreadsheets, how hard is it to switch?
Your dedicated consultant handles the setup and data migration for you, customers, suppliers, products and opening balances loaded in before you ever log in. Most small businesses are fully switched over within a week.
Is our data secure?
Two-factor authentication is mandatory on every account, your business gets its own dedicated, private environment rather than a shared database, and everything is backed up automatically every day with a full activity log of every change anyone makes.
Which countries does Retufu support?
South Africa, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe today, each with its own currency, tax authority and statutory payroll rules built in, use the Region menu at the top of this page to see pricing in your own currency.
